Ouddorp

Ouddorp belongs to the municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee and is situated at the head of the same named island in the south-west of the province of South Holland. Ouddorp has about 6,000 inhabitants and has all the necessary facilities and offers a diverse range of leisure activities and cultural events. In the immediate vicinity there are kilometers of sandy beaches and nature reserves which invite you to linger. The North Sea and the adjacent Grevelingenmeer also offer extensive water sports such as sailing, surfing and diving.

The ideal location allows day trips to the Zeeland islands and the historical cities like Zierikzee, Veere, Middelburg and Vlissingen. The city of Rotterdam, The Hague, Delft and Amsterdam are also easily reachable from Ouddorp. In the spring a trip to Keukenhof (tulip garden) near Lisse is always great.
